The following poem has been written by one of the Saxon Junior members Angel May Egan. Hopefully you will appreciate it and it will warm you up on this cold winter day.

About Summer

Summer is lovely like a flower.
Come with me and you will see
What summer means to me.
The sun is shining in the sky
Saying hello to those who fly.
Also people walking by.
People mowing the grass all day
Until their backs all give way.
On the beach we like to play
Netball and build sandcastles, what a day!
Jelly and ice cream, what a treat.
In the summer I'm going to Gran's.
I might see Maisie one of my friends.
I haven't seen her in ages,
She's also my penpal friend.
